Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited in Broughton, North Wales, offers a 3-year IWFM Level 3 Facilities Management apprenticeship beginning September 2027. You study at Coleg Cambria in year 1 and Gower College in years 2 and 3 while earning a full-time salary and paying zero fees.

The programme combines on-site placements with maintenance, sustainability and health & safety work, preparing you for a career in aerospace facilities management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above including Maths, English Language and Science (C in Physics or double award in Science at minimum CC).
• Selected candidates must submit a Cover Letter explaining their motivation and suitability for the apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Facilities Services: support daily site issues, perform planned maintenance, review infrastructure and standardise equipment.
• Sustainability: identify opportunities to deliver investments and total cost of ownership with sustainable engineering.
• Minor Works Projects: develop infrastructure specs to improve assets and achieve efficiencies.
• Health and Safety: understand responsibilities, ensure compliance and carry out system audits.

Education

IWFM Level 3 apprenticeship in Facilities Management

GCSEs: Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above including Maths, English Language and Science
