Facilities Maintenance Technician

Location: Deeside

Days: Monday to Friday

Our client, a market leader within their industry, is seeking a Facilities Engineer to join their team. The role involves ensuring the maintenance of the building, utilities, and services. Role Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Facilities Manager to maintain building fabrics, services, facilities, housekeeping, and grounds.
• Perform repairs in carpentry, plumbing, lighting, decorating, and lock fixing.
• Assist or carry out testing on fire alarms, intruder systems, emergency lights, water systems, and portable appliance testing, or coordinate with subcontractors.
• Participate in specific projects as required.
• Inspect and troubleshoot issues across the business.
• Take responsibility for new projects within the department.
• Work with other team members and challenge current practices constructively.

Skills and Qualifications

• Full UK Driving License is essential.
• City & Guilds, BTEC, or Apprentice-trained.
• Desirable: IPAF, PASMA, IOSH certifications.
