Job summary

PizzaExpress is seeking a commercially minded Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance across our restaurant estate, improve uptime and keep teams serving great pizza without disruption.

You’ll be the primary liaison between operations and facilities partners, manage budgets, oversee CDM-regulated projects and drive value through proactive maintenance and asset lifecycle planning across the UK and Ireland.

Qualifications

• Maintenance or facilities management experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Strong understanding of contract and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Be the main liaison between operations and facilities management partners.
• Oversee planned, reactive and compliance-related maintenance safely, on time and within budget.
• Improve first-time fixes and identify preventative maintenance opportunities.
• Monitor maintenance using CAFM system and KPIs/SLAs.
• Manage capital investment plans for ovens, refrigeration and HVAC.
• Collaborate with GMs, Territory Managers and Ops teams to prioritise activity.
• Lead larger quoted works and CDM-regulated projects.
• Provide updates to stakeholders with contingencies and local workarounds.
• Visit restaurants to understand maintenance challenges and improve service.
• Introduce benchmarking and auditing to improve performance across the supply chain.
• Support refurbishments and new openings, considering maintenance, warranty and asset lifecycle.
• Partner with Finance for budget planning and expenditure control.
