Job summary

PizzaExpress (Restaurants) Limited is seeking a commercially minded Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance across our restaurant estate, improving uptime and keeping teams serving great pizza without disruption.

You will manage CAFM-based performance, oversee capital plans for ovens, refrigeration and HVAC, and collaborate with GMs and Territory Managers to drive cost-effective, compliant maintenance across the UK and Ireland.

Qualifications

• You’ll have maintenance or facilities management experience in a customer-focused environment.
• You’ll have strong contract and supplier management knowledge.
• You’ll be able to interpret operational information and challenge underperformance.
• You’ll demonstrate commercial decision-making and budgeting awareness.

Responsibilities

• Monitor maintenance activity through CAFM, challenging KPIs and SLAs.
• Maintain the capital investment plan for ovens, refrigeration and HVAC.
• Collaborate with GMs, Territory Managers and Operations teams to prioritise work.
• Oversee major quoted works and CDM-regulated projects.
• Provide updates to stakeholders with contingencies and local workarounds.
• Visit restaurants to understand maintenance challenges and optimise service.
• Support refurbishment projects and new openings with asset lifecycle focus.
• Partner with Finance to support budget planning and control expenditure.
