Bruntwood Circle Square in Manchester is hiring a General Maintenance / Facilities Team Member. The role covers maintenance and caretaker duties across a group of buildings, with a 40-hour week (Mon-Fri, 07:00-16:00 or 09:00-18:00) and one in six Saturdays.

You will support meeting rooms, maintain common areas, and ensure safety and quality standards. The role emphasizes a proactive, collaborative approach within a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Can-do attitude and enthusiasm to adapt to changing daily tasks.
• Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team in a busy facilities environment.
• Training will be provided; prior maintenance experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of presentation around building entrances, common areas, showers, toilets, lifts and corridors.
• Open and lock up buildings as required.
• Prepare meeting rooms and serviced spaces in advance for customers.
• Ensure vacant suites are checked and maintained to a high standard.
• Perform PPM activities including fire testing, water temperature checks and emergency lighting.
• Check that plant, equipment and fabric are functioning to deliver service standards.
• Carry out regular building standard checks and inspections.
• Monitor and progress jobs to completion.
• Respond promptly to health and safety concerns (training provided).
