Job summary

Capability Scotland is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Officer on a fixed-term basis until 31 March 2027, with relief/bank cover. The role is based in Perth and involves supporting residents and staff to maintain safe, comfortable facilities across the estate.

The role includes manual handling, driving duties, and good IT skills to carry out planned and reactive maintenance, protecting vulnerable service users daily life.

Qualifications

• Experience in building services or engineering sector including basic electrical, plumbing & joinery.
• IT literacy with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Support residents, staff and Facilities Manager to maintain a safe, comfortable environment across Capability Scotland properties.
• Undertake planned and reactive maintenance to meet safety and service standards.
