Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead Portering, Security and related services across the South Warwickshire Foundation Trust estate. You will supervise large teams, develop staff, and ensure compliant, high-quality service supporting patient care and operational efficiency.

The role requires strong governance, budgeting, and stakeholder management with a focus on continuous improvement and service delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Right to Work in the UK and willingness to undergo a DBS check.
• Significant experience leading large operational teams in FM, healthcare or security.
• Experience managing Security and Portering or similar functions.
• Proven leadership of large teams with strong governance knowledge.
• Experience budgeting, workforce planning and resource allocation.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to analyse operational performance data and produce reports.
• Experience conducting appraisals, performance reviews and development plans.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency with Excel and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of Portering and Security across the Trust estate.
• Develop and manage large operational teams including agency and bank staff.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, policies and industry standards.
• Build strong relationships with clinical teams, patients and contractors.
• Monitor quality through audits, feedback and performance reporting.
• Manage staffing levels, rotas, attendance and recruitment.
• Lead investigations, appraisals and training within teams.
• Prepare and analyse KPI, operational and financial reports for improvements.
• Oversee budgets and seek cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain CCTV operations, incident management and liaison with emergency services.
• Drive service improvements across Portering, Security, Car Parking and Post Room.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies and changing service demands.
