Job summary

University of Glasgow seeks a Senior Operations Assistant for its Garscube facilities. The role is customer-facing, working within a team to respond to member needs, maintain facilities and equipment, and ensure health, safety and presentation standards.

You would help maintain a safe and welcoming environment, with responsibilities around pool operations, equipment, and user safety. On-site shifts at Glasgow location with permanent, part-time hours.

Qualifications

• Essential: SCQF Level 4 English & Maths or equivalent and relevant experience.
• A2: Up-to-date Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or First Aid at Work; the other within 3 months if only one is held.
• A3: Knowledge of correct manual handling technique.
• A4: Experience managing leisure operations in a similar environment.
• A5: Health and Safety knowledge including COSHH.
• A6: IT skills including MS Office, email, internet.
