Job summary

Nuffield Health in Glasgow/Giffnock is seeking a Lifeguard to ensure member safety across wet side facilities, including the pool, spa, sauna and steam room. You will work 16 hours per week under a permanent contract, providing excellent customer care and maintaining high safety standards.

The role requires a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and ongoing training records. You will be a proactive team player with enthusiasm and a passion for a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Lifeguard qualification (NPLQ or equivalent) and able to provide training records.

Responsibilities

• Help members stay safe and healthy in wet side facilities (swimming pool, spa, sauna, steam room).
• Be attentive and alert at all times.
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment.
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities.
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to incidents immediately.
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times.
