Mitie Group plc. is seeking a maintenance operative to support engineering services on a resident contract with Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. You will assist trades, perform preventative maintenance, handle fault calls, and keep accurate records while complying with safety policies.

The role emphasizes flexibility, willingness to work across sites, and readiness to respond to after-hours calls with appropriate remuneration. A valid driving licence and IT literacy are required.

Qualifications

• Full, current driving licence and IT literacy for record keeping.
• Good customer service skills and physical ability for full duties.
• Background in facilities or mobile maintenance within the construction sector is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled tradesmen across all trades to meet workload requirements.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, repairs, and reactive works.
• Attend call outs, diagnose faults and advise on repairs.
• Complete worksheets, timesheets and maintain records.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and upkeep of cleanliness in work areas.
• Escort external contractors and work across sites within the portfolio.
• Be available for works outside normal hours with remuneration.
