Job summary

Pertemps Leicester is seeking a Maintenance Operative in Nottingham. The role covers general repairs, upkeep and multi-trade maintenance across facilities. It offers a temporary contract with potential to become permanent for the right candidate, with training to develop your skills.

You will work Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm, with a 1-hour lunch. You’ll contribute to safe, quality workmanship while completing tasks with independence and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Has previous maintenance experience.
• Practical, hands-on approach with common tools.
• Experience in one or more trades is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance and repairs.
• Respond to day-to-day maintenance requirements.
• Identify and report defects or issues.
• Complete basic repairs across various trades.
• Assist with plumbing, carpentry, decorating and other tasks.
• Ensure work is safe and up to standard.
• Follow health & safety and compliance procedures.
• Keep work areas clean, safe and organized.
• Work as part of a team or independently.
