Job summary

QinetiQ is seeking a Property Services Operative at the MOD Boscombe Down site to perform routine maintenance, plumbing, grounds work and other general duties in support of the Property Operations on site. The role involves delivering planned or requested activities to ensure a high-quality operations service across the Boscombe Down site.

The position requires a Full Driving Licence and is 37 hours per week at the Boscombe Down site, with eligibility for SC clearance.

Qualifications

Ability to safely deploy equipment.
Previous plumbing experience an advantage.
Manual Handling awareness / risk appreciation.
Previous experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

To deliver tasks as identified such as plumbing, installations, painting and decorating and other general services.
To ensure maintenance standards and quality of work delivered are to the required level.
To assist in resolving customer issues with outstanding tasks or deliveries.
To ensure the appropriate movement of consumables & materials across site in the ongoing management of services.
To ensure the collection of waste items from across site and disposal in the correct receptacles.
To assist the Grounds Maintenance team ensuring that the site grounds are kept to the required standard.
