Qualifications

  • Experience in facilities support, porter services, or building maintenance preferred.
  • Ability to lift and move furniture and equipment safely.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Flexibility to accommodate event schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct morning and afternoon building inspections and keep walkways safe.
  • Perform kitchen and kitchenette checks and restock supplies.
  • Coordinate with mail room for internal deliveries and ad hoc requests.
  • Report hazards to Business Operations (Facilities).
  • Maintain inventories of stored furniture and event equipment.
  • Set up event spaces and furniture per specifications; handle AV equipment.
  • Receive deliveries and ensure crockery and catering supplies are stored properly.
  • Coordinate staff for large or concurrent events and assist with post-event breakdown.
