Serco Limited in Uttoxeter is seeking an FM Escort Officer at HMP Dovegate. You will escort contractors, manage equipment, assist the Facilities Management team with routine maintenance, and maintain records.

The role focuses on safety, security, and operational excellence within a secure establishment. Excellent attention to security procedures, communication with colleagues and stakeholders, and a proactive approach are essential.

Responsibilities

• Escort contractors throughout the establishment, ensuring they work safely and in line with security procedures.
• Account for and manage contractors, equipment, and tools at all times, including arrival and departure checks.
• Support the Facilities Management team with routine maintenance and multi-trade activities appropriate to your skills, experience, and training.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all relevant paperwork is distributed to the appropriate individuals.
• Carry out inspections of external areas to ensure they remain clean, tidy, safe, secure, and presentable.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors, and stakeholders while supporting continuous improvement across Facilities Management activities.
