Job summary

National Highways is seeking a FM Compliance Manager to report to the Principal Facilities Manager for the North Region. The role covers the Warrington or Newton-Le-Willows offices and splits 0.6 FTE on the Corporate estate with 0.4 FTE supporting onboarding and regional expansion.

You will ensure service delivery compliance, manage building compliance and align with health, safety, equality and space utilisation standards, while maintaining strong relationships with partners and suppliers.

Qualifications

• IWFM qualification or equivalent experience.
• Desirable NEC4 contract management experience.
• Knowledge of industry best practices in facilities management.
• Ability to interpret health, safety and equality laws.
• Commercial contract management skills or willingness to study for a professional qualification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain health and safety checks and assessments in the working environment and contribute to improvements which minimise risk to health, safety and welfare of colleagues and stakeholders.
• Maintain effective working relationships with delivery partners and stakeholders to manage risks and issues affecting resilience and security to identify opportunities for improvement in service quality, performance, delivery, sustainability and pricing.
• Procure additional items or services in accordance with the contract or other procurement routes approved by the organisation.
• Use systems to monitor and report on the performance, compliance and quality of outsourced service delivery.
• Contribute to the maintenance of register of factors affecting business continuity and contingency planning.
