Job summary

National Trust is seeking a Facilities Co-ordinator to keep Ironbridge Gorge sites in top condition. You’ll work four days a week on a rota, with regular weekend and Bank Holiday shifts, and drive a company vehicle across the portfolio.

You’ll be a Keyholder, on-call overnight to respond to incidents, and you’ll join a small team ensuring compliance and daily operations across a large, varied portfolio. You’ll support maintenance, cleaning and guest facilities, coordinate deliveries, and help

Qualifications

• Maintain and run an efficient facilities service across Ironbridge Gorge sites

Job description

We're looking for a Facilities Co-ordinator with the skills to keep Ironbridge Gorge in tiptop condition and running smoothly for all the people who visit and love the place. You'll work 4 days per week on a rota basis. Regular weekend and Bank Holiday working is required. Interview dates: 8th and 9th October at our Coalbrookdale offices. Due to the nature of this role, a full UK driving license will be required. You'll be driving a company vehicle across the portfolio. Compliance tasks require movement between sites, providing inter-site Facilities cover on weekends, transportation of goods, and alarm/ security calls. For this role, you'll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form. This will help us understand more about your strengths and give you more information on the role. What it's like to work here Ironbridge Gorge is a portfolio of sites in the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site. You'll be spread across these sites, responsible for compliance, health and safety and daily operations across a large, varied portfolio. You'll work alongside another Facilities Co-ordinator, and a small team of Facilities Assistants. You'll also be a Keyholder for the portfolio, meaning being on an overnight on call rota, to respond to incidents or reports. What you'll be doing As the Facilities Co-ordinator, you'll be making sure that Ironbridge Gorge operates as it should, by running and organising an efficient, effective and flexible facilities service. You'll help the property team to meet their goals by keeping standards high. You'll be helping with maintenance and repairs (reactive, as well as planned and preventative), cleaning and caretaking, the presentation of public areas and visitor facilities (including car parks and grounds), preparing meeting rooms and coordinating deliveries and collections.
