Job summary

Ver tas is seeking a dedicated Caretaker to support the Facilities Team in Chesterfield. This role runs 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday on split shifts from 07:00 to 19:00 with potential flexibility.

You will oversee maintenance, cleanliness, waste management, and general duties to ensure a safe, well-maintained site. The successful candidate will have strong customer service, be a team player, and able to work independently while following health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in caretaking, maintenance, or similar setting.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities are essential.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Waste management and porterage duties.
• Light decorating tasks.
• Maintenance work and general cleaning.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly fire checks.
• Act as Key Holder for the premises.
