Job summary

Ver tas is seeking a dedicated caretaker to join our Facilities Team at Heanor Children's Centre in Heanor, DE75 7BZ. This part-time role is 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with early morning and late afternoon shifts throughout the year.

You will help manage waste, porterage, cleaning and light maintenance to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for children and staff. We value teamwork and reliable service, offer uniform, and require DBS and safeguarding checks as part of the

• Experience in a similar caretaking or facilities role.
• Ability to communicate clearly with staff, customers and suppliers.
• Willingness to undertake safeguarding checks as required.
