Facilities Building Supervisor / Manager - Data Centre
We are seeking a Facilities Building Supervisor / Manager for a Data Centre located in London. This pivotal role oversees all aspects of the Data Centre buildings within a 5-star campus environment.
The main objective is to work with the team to take ownership of the Data Centre's facilities (excluding critical plant) and drive operational excellence. This includes managing everything from the building fabric to office amenities, requiring careful planning and prioritisation.
The Building Management Team is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the buildings, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry standards, legislation, and ISO standards. The role involves managing building management projects aimed at continuous improvement of service quality and environment.
The candidate will work closely with Risk & Compliance teams to ensure all legislation is met, collaborating with major FM providers to maintain accurate documentation and tracking.
This role includes oversight of subcontractors, management of health and safety within scope, and asset management such as fire doors, water access, and emergency lighting.
