Role Overview
We’re hiring a Technical Team Lead (contractor) to lead the design, development, and deployment of AI and automation solutions. This is a hands-on role combining technical delivery with team leadership and client-facing communication.


Key Responsibilities

Architect and build ML models and intelligent automation pipelines

Lead a small technical team, conducting code reviews and guiding implementation

Translate business needs into technical specifications and working solutions

Present solutions and progress to clients and stakeholders

Ensure production-grade deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvements

Stay current with tools and other AI automation technologies


What We’re Looking For:

Proven Work Experience

5+ years working in machine learning, AI, or automation in real-world client settings

Experience with business automation systems


Technical Skills:

Proficiency in at least two relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, R, Java, Scala, C#)

Familiar with APIs, cloud platforms, automation tools, or orchestration frameworks


Leadership:

Strong ability to lead technical teams and projects, plan sprints, and mentor others

Confident communicating with clients and non-technical stakeholders


Portfolio:

Must have examples of past projects (code, case studies, architecture diagrams, or demos)


Eligibility:

Must be UK-based with the right to work (no sponsorship available)
