North Tees & Hartlepool Solutions is seeking a Porters to join our Hartlepool hospital site. The role involves moving patients and equipment, collecting and delivering items across departments, and supporting various portering tasks in a busy hospital environment.

Full training is provided; previous experience is not essential. You will work across seven days including nights, with opportunities for development within a supportive team and a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• GCSE English or equivalent qualification.
• Experience dealing with the general public in a customer-focused role.
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsabilités

• Move patients and equipment between wards and departments.
• Collect and deliver laundry, boxes, bedding and furniture.
• Exchange medical gas cylinders and handle specimens.
• Provide driver cover for hospital vehicles when needed.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance and wear full uniform.
