Job summary

East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust is recruiting a Porter to support patient transport and hospital operations in Stevenage. The role involves moving patients by bed, wheelchair or trolley, assisting with blood product handling and specimen transport.

Full training will be provided and you will work within Trust health and safety policies. Experience in a hospital setting is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Previous hospital experience desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Move patients by bed, wheelchair, and trolley.
• Change medical gases as required.
• Collect blood products for transfusion.
• Take specimens to the pathology lab.
• Full training will be provided.
