Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a dedicated Facilities Assistant to support Defence operations on a full-time basis (35 hours per week). You will help maintain high standard facility management and support the wider facilities team, with opportunities to progress in a company that invests in its people.

Key duties include minor repairs, exterior upkeep, supervising contractor sign-in/out, opening and closing the building, and helping ensure health and safety compliance while delivering excellent

• Previous experience in a similar facilities role.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Responsible for ensuring the exterior of the site is in a clean, tidy and reasonable state of repair, inclusive of general external maintenance tasks.
• Assisting the facilities team with the control of contractor's process, inclusive of ensuring contractors are signed in correctly, and signed out, and that everyone is adhering to site policies and rules.
• Responsible for opening and/or closing the building where required.
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations.
