Job summary

Compass Group UK&I Defence division is seeking a dedicated Facilities Assistant to help ensure the smooth running of our site operations. The role is full time, 35 hours per week, contracted for 50.2 weeks per year, with duties ranging from minor repairs to contractor oversight and building opening/closing.

You will join a busy facilities team, contribute to maintaining external site areas, uphold health and safety standards, and represent the Compass brand with a positive customer service focus.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar facilities role is desirable.
• Able to undertake minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Comfortable working with contractors and site policies.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Ensure exterior of the site is clean, tidy and in good repair.
• Assist with contractor control, logging in/out and policy compliance.
• Open and/or close the building as required.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image.
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations.
