Historic England is seeking a facilities assistant for our York office. You will ensure day-to-day facilities services are delivered on site, keeping spaces safe, clean, well-stocked, maintained and comfortable for colleagues, tenants and visitors.
You will be the on-site contact, monitor contractor performance and proactively resolve issues, with flexible working options including hybrid arrangements. This fixed-term role runs for 9 months at 18 hours per week with a competitive benefits
As our facilities assistant, you will ensure day to day facilities management services are delivered on site and that facilities are safe, clean, well-stocked, suitably maintained, well presented and comfortable at all times.
You will act as the first point of contact for colleagues, tenants and visitors on site, and monitor performance standards of key contractors.
You will also proactively resolve issues for colleagues and elevate problems appropriately.
