Job summary

English Heritage is seeking a part-time Business Support Assistant to join the West regional team. You will coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and take accurate minutes, while supporting site teams with supplier management, visits planning and invoices.

The role offers flexible hours and a hybrid pattern, with frequent attendance at Kenilworth Castle discussed at interview. This position demands strong organisation, budget awareness and excellent written and oral communication, plus advanced

Qualifications

  • Experience coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and taking meeting minutes.
  • Experience of working with financial information and budgets.
  • The ability to multi-task, manage own workload and prioritise accordingly to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Advanced knowledge of the full Microsoft Office suite.

We are looking for a Business Support Assistant to join our team. The role is part time and permanent, working 28.8 hours per week. We offer flexible working arrangements where the role allows. This role can be based at one of our sites or offices, at home, or worked on a hybrid pattern. You will be required to attend Kenilworth Castle on a frequent basis. This will be discussed further at interview.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled administrator to join the West regional team, supporting the important conservation work being carried out across our impressive portfolio of sites throughout West England. As a Business Support Assistant, you will you will coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and take accurate meeting minutes. You will also assist site teams with the management of external suppliers by planning site visits and annual schedules, processing invoices and monitoring contractor/supplier performance. You will also help to monitor progress of essential works across the the team.

Requirements
  • Experience coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and taking meeting minutes.
  • Experience of working with financial information and budgets.
  • The ability to multi-task, manage own workload and prioritise accordingly to meet deadlines in a fast-paced changing environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Advanced knowledge of the full Microsoft Office suite.
