Temporary Facilities Assistant/Postroom Operative - FM Service Provider - Mill Road, Cambridge - £17 per hour (Umbrella)

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Facilities Assistant/Postroom Operative to work for an established Facilities company on a unique site based in Cambridge. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working within Facilities Management and can start immediately. Your main duties will consist of being responsible for the day to day maintenance and operation of the building you are assigned to, to keep the building up to the company standards.

Hours of work / Details :
  1. 08:00am to 17:00pm
  2. Immediate start Friday 13th December
  3. Required to be flexible for overtime
  4. Temporary assignment
Shifts required:
  1. 13/12/24 - One day
  2. 16/12/24 - One day
  3. 18/12/24 - One day
  4. 19/12/24 - One day
Responsibilities:
  1. Handling the client mailroom, accepting incoming deliveries
  2. Assisting with on-site tasks
  3. Reporting any building defects found to the client
  4. Completing meeting room setups
  5. Ordering and maintaining stationery
  6. Delivering post around the building
  7. Photocopying, filing, posting mail
  8. Assisting with office moves
  9. Moving furniture
  10. Minor repairs in the building
  11. Installing safety equipment
  12. Repairs, fixtures and fittings
  13. Overseeing building maintenance
  14. Ensuring the building and environment stays clean and sanitised
  15. Ensuring emergency procedures are in place and functioning
  16. Basic administration
Requirements:
  1. Proactive, intuitive, punctual
  2. Experience within a facilities environment
  3. Experience with basic handyman duties
  4. IT proficient
  5. Basic administrative duties
  6. Post Room experience required
