Job summary

Forest Holidays Group Limited is seeking a Facilities Assistant at our Argyll Forest cabins. In this full-time role, you will ensure cabins are well maintained, with prompt repairs and tidy décor, while delivering warm guest service.

You will perform general maintenance using basic tools, and help with branding standards, ensuring every guest feels Forest Feeling from arrival.

Facilities Assistant

Location: Argyll Forest

Salary: £12.71 per hour

Working Hours: Full-time.

Days of Work: Your days of work will vary between Monday and Sunday.

About the Facilities Assistant role

As Facilities Assistant, you will ensure our cabins are in good working order with well‑maintained décor. You will complete general maintenance tasks, so a basic knowledge of using tools, fixing machinery, and decorating is desirable. You will respond to issues promptly and the ability to solve these issues whilst maintaining excellent communication with the guest is essential.

Our Facilities Assistant will ensure every cabin is regularly audited to keep standards high. Working in the Operations Team you will also assist across the location as and when required, for example delivering items ordered from the Retreat to cabins or emptying bins on a changeover day.

You’ll take pride in delivering exceptional customer service and are happy to work with our brand standards, ensuring every guest experience that Forest Feeling the moment they step into their cabin.

Pay Rates for Aged 16 and 17

16 years: £8.00 per hour

17 years: £10.85 per hour
