Forest Holidays at Keldy Forest is seeking a Facilities Assistant to keep cabins in top condition and ensure a memorable stay for guests. You will maintain décor, carry out repairs, and support the operations team in daily tasks, including deliveries and changeovers.
We value a can-do attitude, teamwork, and willingness to work outdoors in all weather. A driving licence is required for the role.

Our cabins at Keldy are deep in the forest; some are just visible between the trees and others enjoy an outlook onto grassy, sunlit glades. Here, surrounded by nature, you can truly relax.
As Facilities Assistant, you will ensure our cabins are in good working order with well-maintained décor. You will complete general maintenance tasks, so a basic knowledge of using tools, fixing machinery, and decorating is desirable. You will respond to issues promptly and the ability to solve these issues whilst maintaining excellent communication with the guest is essential.
Our Facilities Assistant will ensure every cabin is regularly audited to keep standards high. Working in the Operations Team you will also assist across the location as and when required, for example delivering items ordered from the Retreat to cabins or emptying bins on a changeover day.
You’ll take pride in delivering exceptional customer service and are happy to work with our brand standards, ensuring every guest experience that Forest Feeling the moment they step into their cabin.
Our ideal Facilities Assistant will be a dynamic individual who applies a can-do attitude to solve any issues that may arise on location. You will be a team player, capable of building good working relationships with colleagues. A love for the outdoors is essential as these tasks need completing rain or shine every day of the year.
