Job summary

Forest Holidays Group Limited is seeking a Housekeeper at Ardgartn Argyll (Loch Long). The role is part-time (16 hours) with shifts on Monday and Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm, in a scenic forest setting.

You will clean and prepare multiple cabins each shift, ensuring top-notch cleanliness and a welcoming environment for guests. A positive attitude, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential, with some prior housekeeping experience preferred.

• Enthusiastic, energetic and eager to deliver on brand standards.
• Team player with good rapport with colleagues and ability to meet timescales.
• High attention to detail and cleanliness standards.
• Some previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Willingness to work outdoors in a natural setting, whatever the weather.

Work Where the Mountains Meet the Loch

• Location: Ardgartan Argyll (Loch Long)
• Salary: £12.71 per hour
• Working Hours: Part-time, 16 hours.
• Days of Work: Monday and Friday, 8:30am until 4:30pm.
• Transport Available: Free transport to and from the Balloch, Helensburgh and Dumbarton areas is available (subject to user numbers and your home location)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Housekeeper to join our team at Argyll.

At the edge of the Argyll Forest Park, pine-covered mountains sweep down to meet the shore of Loch Long where 40 cabins sit. A more perfect spot for a forest escape is hard to imagine.

About the Housekeeper Role:

Open all year round, our Housekeepers work in small teams, cleaning multiple cabins per shift. Passionate about the little details, you understand the importance of exceptional cleanliness, it’s what keeps our guests coming back time and time again.

Key responsibilities include:

• Cleaning and preparing multiple cabins per shift to the highest standard.
• Ensuring all cabins are spotless and welcoming for arriving guests.
• Taking pride in your work and attention to detail at all times.
• Following brand standards to ensure every guest experiences the Forest Feeling from the moment they step into their cabin.

Pay Rates for Aged 16 and 17:

• 16 years: £8.00 per hour
• 17 years: £10.85 per hour
