Job summary

Principal People Recruitment is seeking a Facilities and Compliance Manager to lead the management of offices and premises across the national footprint. Reporting to the Director of SHEQ, you will drive compliance, oversee FM/M&E contractors, and improve service through KPIs.

You will manage maintenance programmes, support sustainability initiatives, and provide regular reporting to the SHEQ Leadership and Board. Salary £55,000-£65,000 plus car allowance, mileage, and benefits.

Qualifications

• IWFM qualification or equivalent
• Strong FM experience in commercial office environments
• Workplace compliance experience
• Experience managing FM/M&E contractors
• Ability to manage SLAs and KPIs
• Experience overseeing multiple sites

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with legislation, standards and management system requirements including fire safety, water hygiene, asbestos, gas
• Oversee FM and M&E contractors
• Manage planned and reactive maintenance programmes
• Drive service performance through KPIs and SLAs
• Support sustainability, business continuity and workplace improvement initiatives
• Provide reporting to the SHEQ Leadership and Board
• Ensure compliance standards are met and responsive
• Regular compliance inspections and site visits

Facilities and Compliance Manager - £55-65k + Car Allowance + Mileage + Package - Nantional - ID: 11837

We are currently working with a highly-established, large scale infrastructure organisation who are looking for a Facilities and Compliance Manager to join their team to cover their commercial offices nationally.

Reporting to the Director of SHEQ, the Facilities and Compliance Manager will provide effective leadership and management over the Management discipline of the companies offices and premises, driving efficiency and continuous improvement of service and providing effective contract management for outsourced services.

Your role will include:

• Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, standards and management system requirements, including fire safety, water hygiene, asbestos, gas etc
• Oversee FM and M&E contractors
• Manage planned/reactive maintenance programmes
• Drive service performance through KPIs and SLAs
• Support the delivery of sustainability, business continuity and workplace improvement initiatives
• Provide reporting to the SHEQ Leadership and Board
• Ensure compliance standards are met and a high level of response
• Regular compliance inspections and site visits

We're looking for:

• Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM) qualification or equivalent
• Strong practical Facilities Management experience with commercial office environments
• Hold strong workplace compliance experience
• Experience managing FM and/or M&E contractors
• Ability to manage SLAs and KPIs and drive service performance
• Experience overseeing multiple sites and geographically dispersed locations
• Strong contractor and supplier management experience
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
