Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an experienced Façade Manager for a major construction project in the UK on a long-term freelance contract (12 months+). You will oversee five façade packages valued up to £7m, driving programme, quality, safety and commercial objectives with the project team.

Qualifications

• Experience as Façade Manager on major construction projects.
• Experience with Tier 1 Main Contractors is essential.
• Knowledge of curtain walling, cladding, glazing, and façade installation packages.
• Experience coordinating multiple façade subcontractors simultaneously.
• SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, and First Aid qualification preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating façade subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered in line with programme requirements.
• Monitoring installation quality and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
• Managing interface coordination between façade, structure, and internal fit-out teams.
• Reviewing technical drawings, design information, and installation methodologies.
• Conducting inspections and quality assurance checks throughout the installation process.
• Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained across all façade-related activities.
• Reporting progress, risks, and programme updates to the senior project team.

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Façade Manager to join a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor on a major construction project. This Façade Manager role offers a long-term freelance contract of 12 months+, overseeing multiple high-value façade packages while working as part of an established project delivery team on a flagship development.

About the Role of Façade Manager

As Façade Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of five façade packages with a combined value of up to £7 million. Working closely with the Project Director, Senior Construction Manager, design teams, and specialist subcontractors, you will drive programme, quality, safety, and commercial objectives throughout the façade installation process.

Managing the delivery of five façade packages valued up to £7m

• Coordinating façade subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered in line with programme requirements

Requirements for Façade Manager

Proven experience working as a Façade Manager on major construction projects

• Previous experience working for a Tier 1 Main Contractor is essential
• Strong understanding of curtain walling, cladding, glazing, and façade installation packages
• Experience managing multiple façade subcontractors simultaneously
• Ability to coordinate design, programme, and site delivery requirements
• SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, and First Aid qualification preferred
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
