Job summary

Fallprotec UK Ltd seeks a Fall protection / Façade Access Designer and Draftsman based in Market Harborough. You will design components, optimise concepts, and create 2D and 3D drawings in collaboration with the UK sales team.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical/Industrial design or drafting, and experience in industrial or construction contexts, with preference for fall protection exposure. Hybrid office presence 2–3 days per week in Market Harborough.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Mechanical/ Industrial designing/drafting.
• Experience: Industrial and Construction related, preference having worked in the fall protection industry.

Responsibilities

• Design components according to the technical requirements and specifications.
• Optimise concepts and designs with analytical and mechanical assessments.
• Collaborate with engineering team to achieve integrated and optimized solutions.
• Create conceptual and manufacturing shop drawings (2D and 3D).
• Involved within project management process as project designer (possible evolution to PM).
• Contribute to improving systems and communication with partners and processes.
