Job summary

Purobuild is seeking an experienced Façade Consultant to join our Manchester team. You will provide specialist façade consultancy across commercial and residential developments, working with clients, architects and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in façade engineering, strong knowledge of curtain walling, rainscreen, glazing, and is able to produce technical reports.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience within façade engineering, façade consultancy or a closely related discipline.
• Strong technical knowledge of façade systems, including curtain walling, rainscreen cladding, glazing and external wall systems.
• Experience producing technical reports and communicating technical findings to clients.
• A good understanding of relevant UK façade standards, regulations and guidance.
• Experience with areas such as CWCT, EWS1, FRAEW, PAS 9980, fire performance, thermal performance or façade remediation would be highly desirable.

I am currently working with a leading global property and consultancy business that is looking to appoint an experienced Façade Consultant to join their growing Manchester team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a façade professional looking to work on a diverse portfolio of technically challenging projects, providing specialist façade consultancy advice across the full project lifecycle.

You will work closely with clients, architects, contractors and other technical specialists, providing expert advice on façade design, performance, compliance and remediation.

The Role

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• 3+ years' experience within façade engineering, façade consultancy or a closely related discipline.
• Strong technical knowledge of façade systems, including curtain walling, rainscreen cladding, glazing and external wall systems.
• Experience undertaking façade inspections, assessments or technical reviews.
• A good understanding of relevant UK façade standards, regulations and guidance.
• Experience producing technical reports and communicating technical findings to clients.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with clients and multidisciplinary project teams.
• A degree in Façade Engineering, Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Building Physics, Architecture or a related discipline would be advantageous.
• Experience with areas such as CWCT, EWS1, FRAEW, PAS 9980, fire performance, thermal performance or façade remediation would be highly desirable.
