Job summary

Aspirare Recruitment is seeking a Fabricator for an ongoing contract in Glasgow. The role is predominantly workshop-based, split around fabrication and MIG welding of mild and stainless steel, with occasional aluminium.

You will fabricate structural beams, staircases, and bespoke steelwork, and work from technical drawings. The position requires accurate measurement, cutting, forming and preparation of materials, plus the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Experience with mild steel fabrication
• Experience with stainless steel fabrication
• MIG welding experience
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings

Responsibilities

• Fabricate structural beams, staircases and bespoke steelwork in a workshop environment
• Carry out gearbox repairs and associated fabrication work including measuring, cutting, forming and preparing materials
• Read and work from technical drawings
