Job summary

Bimplus in Dundee is seeking a Welder Fabricator to join an established workshop team. You will fabricate and weld steel components, reading engineering drawings and working to tight tolerances in a busy onsite environment.

The role is full-time with ASAP start, offering stable hours and a focus on quality, safety and professional standards within a supportive team. Previous MIG experience and ability to work to production schedules are essential; we welcome skilled applicants who are reliable

• Experience as Welder Fabricator or in steel fabrication.

Join an established workshop team as a Welder Fabricator in Dundee, producing quality steelwork for a range of projects. This is a full-time onsite opportunity with an ASAP start.

The Role

• Fabricate and weld steel components from engineering drawings, specifications and job requirements.
• Measure, mark out and set steelwork accurately, working to close tolerances.
• Carry out MIG welding to a consistently high standard, producing clean and strong welds.
• Use hand tools, power tools and overhead cranes safely and effectively.
• Complete quality checks and documentation while maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop.

We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a Welder Fabricator role or a similar steel fabrication position.
• Strong MIG welding skills with good attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings and specifications.
• Confident using hand and power tools, with a good understanding of workshop safety.
• Reliable, professional and able to work effectively to production schedules.
