Job summary

NG Bailey Facilities Services is seeking an experienced Fabric Supervisor for the Wembley Stadium contract. You will lead a team of four Fabric Technicians, performing repairs, inspections and pre-event readiness to keep the venue at peak performance.

Role requires hands-on leadership, painting, decorating, carpentry and building inspections, plus coordinating repairs and small works. Standard hours are 8am–5pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime and some evening/weekend work for events.

Qualifications

• NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 in fabric discipline
• Supervising or leading a team in a similar fabric role
• General building Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules
• Multitasking and working effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Bonus: knowledge of water systems and Legionella awareness

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Fabric Technicians during daily activities and events.
• Plan and deliver scheduled fabric maintenance including painting, decorating, carpentry and inspections.
• Lead fabric provision during stadium events, including pre-event surveys and repairs.
• Spot fabric or plant issues early and communicate actions to stakeholders.
• Prepare and submit quotes for extra works to the customer.
• Maintain HASAWA compliance and on-site quality records for completed works.

Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:

• Leading and developing your team of Fabric Technicians, covering both HR and operational activities to build a safe, healthy and proactive culture.
• Planning and delivering scheduled fabric maintenance, including painting and decorating, carpentry and building and stadium inspections, to maximise the appearance and operational effectiveness of the Stadium.
• Leading fabric provision during events, including pre-event surveys and repairs.
• Spotting fabric or plant problems early and making sure they are communicated quickly so action can be taken before the client's business or safety is affected.
• Putting together and submitting extra work quotations to the customer.
• Keeping health and safety (HASAWA) and on-site quality assurance standards front and centre, with accurate records of completed works.
• Communicating openly with NG Bailey line management and client contacts, creating a collaborative environment to plan and agree activities.
