Job summary

NG Bailey Facilities Services is recruiting for an experienced Fabric Technician to join the Wembley Stadium contract. You will perform general fabric repairs, painting and decorating, carpentry, and building inspections to maintain stadium aesthetics.

Deliver PPM fabric inspections, identify remedial works, and carry out fire door inspections and second fix carpentry. You will ensure site documentation is kept up to date and support supervision of subcontractors while adhering to H&S standards.

Qualifications

  • Carpentry qualifications to C&G Level 3 are essential.
  • Carpentry 1st and 2nd fix experience is essential.
  • Good knowledge of Health & Safety is essential.
  • Fire Door inspector qualification is desirable (training can be provided).

Summary

NG Bailey Facilities Services are recruiting for an experienced Fabric Technician on the prestigious Wembley Stadium Contract.

Having a proactive, customer focused attitude, the role holder will complete a range of activities including repairs and supporting the team with painting and decorating, carpentry, building inspections and general site husbandry to maintain the stadium aesthetics.

Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:
  • Deliver PPM Fabric Inspections/ identifying remedial works,
  • Fire door inspection and second fix carpentry work.
  • To ensure that all applicable site documentation is kept up to date this will be regularly audited either by internal or external parties.
  • Be proactive in the approach to fabric maintenance, identify areas for improvement and enhance the overall service delivery
  • Assist with supervision of sub-contractor works ensuring compliance and adherence to applicable H&S standards when required.
What we’re looking for

An experienced Fabric technicianworking to a high standard of building services provision (planned and reactive) with the utmost regard for customer service this is a role for you.

  • Performing general building fabric repairs (e.g., walls, doors, skirting boards) and basic decorating tasks
  • Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), including tasks like emergency lighting checks and lamp replacements
  • Capable of undertaking Reactive Repairs and Small Projects with minimal supervision.
  • Capable of working independently
