Options Resourcing Ltd in Birmingham is recruiting an experienced Fabric Engineer to join a site-based maintenance team. You will carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and general building fabric works across a range of buildings.

The role requires a City & Guilds level apprenticeship, at least three years' post-apprenticeship maintenance experience, and strong fault-finding skills. You will work independently, keep accurate records and participate in on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship in maintenance/engineering to City & Guilds level.
• Minimum of three years' post-apprenticeship maintenance experience.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsabilités

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on building fabric systems.
• Inspect, maintain and repair fire doors and passive fire protection.
• Maintain drainage, cladding and roofing systems; carry out joinery tasks as needed.
• Diagnose faults, identify defects and implement remedial works.
• Maintain accurate records and follow health and safety procedures.
