Job summary
HVAC Recruitment Limited is seeking a Fabric Engineer to perform reactive maintenance and general building repairs across commercial sites in Manchester and surrounding areas. The role covers fabric repairs, joinery, plumbing, and minor electrical works with a focus on completing small projects and accurate maintenance reporting.
The ideal candidate brings FM or building maintenance experience, strong fabric knowledge, and a willingness to work independently in a mobile role with a UK driving
Qualifications
- Previous FM or building maintenance experience
- Good all-round fabric maintenance knowledge
- Experience with joinery, plumbing and general repairs
- Basic electrical knowledge beneficial
- Comfortable working independently in a mobile role
- Full UK driving licence
- Flexible towards overtime when required
Responsibilities
- Carry out reactive building and fabric maintenance
- Complete joinery, basic plumbing and general repairs
- Carry out minor electrical works where competent
- Complete small works and minor projects
- Fault find and identify remedial works
- Manage jobs across multiple customer sites
- Complete job sheets and maintenance reports
- Liaise with customers and site contacts
