Job summary
Sodexo is looking for a skilled Building Fabric Maintenance Engineer to support the delivery of statutory and building fabric maintenance at a client site. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults and complete repairs, ensuring work is safe and compliant.
Key duties include diagnosing faults, performing routine maintenance, coordinating with colleagues, and guiding apprentices. A completed apprenticeship and NVQ Level 3 in Building Fabric are required, with experience
Qualifications
- Completed apprenticeship.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Building Fabric.
- Experience in practical maintenance and building fabric.
- Ability to work independently in a technical environment.
- Good health and safety understanding.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs within technical capability.
- Perform planned and reactive building fabric maintenance.
- Ensure systems and assets comply with regulations and best practices.
- Carry out asset replacements and minor new works.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Guide apprentices where required.
- Prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
- Follow safety procedures and company processes.
