Job summary

Sodexo Group is hiring a Building Fabric Maintenance Engineer to support statutory and mandatory building fabric maintenance across a client site. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults and complete repairs safely to required standards.

The role requires an apprenticeship completion and NVQ Level 3 in Building Fabric, with independent maintenance experience and good HSE knowledge.

Qualifications

Completed apprenticeship required.
NVQ Level 3 in Building Fabric or equivalent.
Practical engineering and building fabric maintenance experience.
Experience working independently in a technical maintenance environment.
Good understanding of Health & Safety and safe systems of work.
Experience using CMMS and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Diagnose faults and carry out repairs within your technical capability.
Complete routine planned and reactive building fabric maintenance.
Ensure systems and assets are maintained in line with regulations and best practice.
Carry out like-for-like asset replacements and minor new works.
Build positive relationships with clients, colleagues and stakeholders.
Guide and support apprentices where required.
Manage and prioritise your workload to meet deadlines.
Follow safe systems of work and company processes.
Consider cost, efficiency and sustainability in tasks.
Complete helpdesk requests and maintenance records.
