Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in London is seeking a Fabric Technician to deliver planned and reactive maintenance on building fabric, plumbing, and related systems under supervision. You will support client contracts, ensuring strong customer care and adherence to procedures.

The role requires prior fabric or carpentry experience, qualifications in safety and electrical regs, and the ability to self-manage tasks while maintaining high standards of HSE and best practice.

Qualifications

  • NICEIC Level 3 technical and practical qualification is required.
  • Current wiring regulations certification is required.
  • IOSH or NEBOSH health and safety qualification is required.
  • Experience in Fabric or Carpentry roles is advantageous.
  • Facilities management experience is beneficial.
  • Strong customer-facing skills and ability to self-manage tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Provide planned and reactive maintenance on building fabric and plumbing tasks.
  • Support clients in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Deliver service commitments with high HSE standards and safe workplace.
  • Inspect assets for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Assist engineering team and respond to client inquiries.
  • Ensure all works are performed safely per Health and Safety regulations.
  • Take measures to operate systems efficiently.
  • Follow existing procedures under supervision and guidance.
  • Deliver output by following defined processes.
