Job summary

Multitask Personnel is seeking a Building Fabric Technician / Fabric Engineer to deliver PPM, reactive maintenance and installation across multiple sites. The role requires multi-skilling in carpentry, plumbing and general repairs, with driving to sites as needed.

The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 2 in General Building Operations, a valid CSCS card and experience in FM or shopfitting environments. A proactive, independent worker with IT skills is essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in General Building Operations / Joinery (or equivalent)
• Valid CSCS card
• Proven experience in building fabric maintenance, FM, or shopfitting environments
• Multi-skilled across carpentry, basic plumbing and general building repairs
• Ability to work independently and manage workload
• Good IT skills (CAFM systems or similar)
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Flexible and proactive approach to work

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM, reactive maintenance and installation works across building fabric
• General building repairs including roofing, guttering, brickwork, flooring and external works
• Internal maintenance including carpentry, plastering, painting and decorating, glazing and wall repairs
• Joinery works including doors, frames, locks, handles and fittings
• Basic plumbing and drainage works including toilets, sinks, pipework and leaks
• Ensure all works are completed in line with SLAs and health & safety regulations
• Update and maintain CAFM system records
• Travel between multiple sites as required
