Job summary

BJF Group is seeking a highly capable Projects Fabric Engineer to join its South West FM team in Dorset, England. The role focuses on delivering responsive maintenance and planned works across multiple estates, ensuring minimal downtime and compliance with specifications.

The successful candidate will carry out first-fix where possible, document activities, and uphold safety standards in all tasks. A CSCS/ECS card and relevant City & Guilds qualification are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance and reactive/preventative tasks.
• Active CSCS/ECS card required to access sites.
• City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in a relevant field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to reactive calls and perform first fix where possible.
• Plan and execute building maintenance tasks per programme with documented records.
• Maintain good decorative order of sites per specification.
• Build strong relationships to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
• Work safely and to high standards following best practices.
