Job Title: Fabric Technician

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Fabric Technician to join our team in Crawley.

Role Summary:

1. Respond to reactive works within the team.
2. Ensure maintenance tasks are completed within agreed timescales.
3. Liaise with client representatives regarding maintenance & repair tasks.
4. Undertake site surveys & produce Works Requests, Method Statements & Risk Assessments for planned works.
5. Repair floor and wall coverings.
6. Responsible for ceiling tile repairs and replacements.
7. Handle other building and installation works as required.
8. Accountable for lighting, general lamp changes, filter changes in AHUs / FCUs, and basic plumbing requirements.
9. Utilise PDA to complete works, communicate effectively, and provide updates.
10. Complete reactive, PPM jobs & projects promptly.
11. Undertake minor project works.
12. Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Regulations.
13. Perform all reasonable tasks as directed by the Technical Services Manager.

Experience Required:

1. Previous experience in fabric and carpentry work.
2. Experience working in high-profile environments.
3. City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent in carpentry.
4. Good customer relationship skills.
5. Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings, instructions, and processes.
6. Ability to organise and manage assigned tasks, including determining material requirements.
