CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Mobile Multi-skilled Fabric Technician to join the team located in East London. The successful candidate will assist Fabric Technicians in delivering various fabric works according to CBRE, client, and industry standards.

Technical Competencies
  • Minimum of 2-3 years site experience in a similar role or fabric trade
  • Completed or working towards an accredited Multi-skilled training course (e.g., carpentry, wet trades, tiling, plastering, roofing, glazing) with City & Guilds or NVQ accreditation
  • Willing to pursue Health & Safety qualifications (e.g., IOSH/NEBOSH/SMSTS)
  • Ability to manage varied workloads and meet KPIs
  • Proactive, able to work independently, and follow supervisory instructions
  • Excellent customer service skills and professional communication
  • Familiar with building/construction terminology
Key Duties
  • Carry out fabric maintenance to meet or exceed service level agreements
  • Support a heritage estate, which involves significant walking
  • Respond to emergency repairs and assist colleagues as needed
  • Perform reactive maintenance and fabric PPM
  • Basic lamping duties as per site SOP
  • Notify supervisors of spares deficiencies
  • Maintain detailed maintenance records in the CAFM system
  • Follow all safety procedures and support health & safety initiatives
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of all areas
  • Supervise subcontractors and ensure contractual compliance
  • Develop positive relationships with staff and clients
  • Ensure a safe and professional working environment
  • Promote CBRE’s professional image and excellent customer service
  • Maintain technical skills through ongoing learning
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
  • Support out-of-hours emergencies and urgent works
  • Be willing to assist at other sites within the Business Unit
