Are you a Mobile Fabric Engineer looking for a new challenge?
Would you like to work for a leading Facilities Maintenance provider?

An exciting opportunity to join an established Building Services company based across all of the SW / KT postcodes. CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Mobile Fabric Engineer to carry out planned and reactive commercial maintenance across a retail contract based in the SW / KT postcode area. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

This position would be ideal for a Mobile Maintenance Engineer currently in a similar position who is keen on progression. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £34,000 with a potential route into further career progression.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Ability to deliver excellent customer service
• Undertake basic “Fabric duties” such as touching up paintwork, tightening hinges, installing/repairing blinds, changing locks, making minor repairs to cabinets, desks, and assembling small equipment like chairs.
• Perform plumbing activities including clearing blockages, attending to burst pipes, replacing components, and servicing systems.
• Painting and decorating
• Assist with minor office moves, including furniture relocation
• Liaise with the contract management team
• Investigate complaints and take appropriate actions
• Provide feedback to the helpdesk on the progress of M&E jobs
• Carry out specialist technical and non-technical work as appropriate to the maintenance function on the client portfolio
• Offer technical support and backup as required
• Ensure safety measures are followed in hazardous areas to prevent danger and damage
• Use all relevant tools and equipment within safety guidelines
• Deliver reactive and planned maintenance, minor improvements to ensure high standards
• Assist Multi-Skilled Engineers when required

Hours of Work & Package Information

• Basic salary of up to £34,000
• 1 in 4 call-out rota with £15 per day standby allowance
• Monday – Friday, 08:00am – 05:00pm
• 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
• Company van and fuel card
• Tablet and work phone provided
• Full company uniform
