Mercedes‑AMG PETRONAS F1 Team in Brackley invites you to a year-in-industry placement in the Engineering Software Department. You will contribute to the off-car software stack, support simulators and data systems, and engage with stakeholders across the business to drive improvements.

The role requires an active Computer Science degree, familiarity with .NET and Python, DevOps awareness and a passion for motorsport. There is flexibility for race-weekend work and a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a strong degree in a relevant computer science discipline.
• Awareness of .NET and Python.
• Awareness of DevOps and deployment processes.
• At least one year remaining on your current course from the start date.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy and support the off-car software stack for simulators, R&D facilities and race cars.
• Provide remote operational support and real-time data production monitoring.
• Interface with stakeholders to understand issues and plan future work.
