Job summary

McLaren Racing Ltd is offering a placement in its Production team to support the manufacture, planning and delivery of a Formula 1 car. You will plan and deliver diverse projects, manage multiple workstreams, and turn data into practical improvements with guidance from experienced colleagues.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering or a closely related discipline with a minimum predicted grade 2:1 (or equivalent).
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments.
• Strong project skills with evidence of organizing work and delivering outcomes.
• Confident with using data and digital tools to understand performance and communicate recommendations.
• Interest in AI integration and its application to manufacturing and planning.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, engineering or motorsport is desirable but not required.
